Some Words About Astrology

The objective of this site is to promote astrology with emphasis on the prediction of events. In the modern times astrology has been practiced mainly as a self-knowledge tool rather than a way to know in advance and to prepare oneself for the future.

In the ancient times, differently, astrology was essentially predictive in order to know in advance the climatic question, the events of kingdom, the possibility of wars and epidemics, the succession of the royal family, the predisposition or not of the royal couple to engender children, etc

In the same way the astrologer was occupied with life spam, particularly the life of the heir of the throne, to anticipate if he would succeed to survive and occupy the place of the king or queen. We will find ancient astrologers also working on questions like the kind of marriage that would be reserved for the native, if he would have enough money, if his illnesses would be curable and through what kind of therapy and much more.
Moreover, it was very important to know in which moment to enter into war and who would be the winner, and decide if the better solution would be a diplomatic one.
The astrologer was always intimately linked to History advising kings and powerful people and it’s difficult to evaluate which would have been western history without the astrologer figure!

You and The Astrology

With the popularization of the astrology you can also benefit from this huge amount of knowledge accumulated in millennia consulting an astrologer at an important moment, or when things don’t run as they should or if something is worrying you, for example your job position, the financial aspects, your health or that of a beloved person, if you will find love, etc. You may know as well through the astrological counseling the best moment to ask for a salary increase, to marry someone or to be undergoing a surgery. Many problems can be avoided with a simple fact: to know the problems in advance!

Astrology is divided into several specialties, namely the Mundane astrology, that deals with the destiny of countries, the Climatic, that is dedicated to the prediction of the climate, the Electional, that aimed at electing the most favorable date to materialize an event as desired, the Medical, that deals with the illnesses, their type and evolution, the Natal, that deals with the individual horoscope and the Horary. The approach of this website is mainly in respect to the individual astrology, mainly the Horary Astrology, the Natal and the Electional one. The Horary Astrology was very much used by the ancient masters, as Masha´allah, Bonatti and Lilly, but it is yet practically unknown of the great public. The so called “Questions” are still seen with certain restriction, due the suspicious of the astrologer´s capacity to predict the future not using the birth data of the client, but the moment of the question.
Persons are ambiguous in questions about the future and we don´t know if they really want to know it or perhaps prefer an “ psychological astrology” and the illusion of having power to change the future. In this case, the real predictive and Traditional astrology is not a good choice for them, since prediction is based in fate and destiny.
People who asks a question may be prepared to the truth. Traditional astrology is predictive and following logic if we can predict we believe that free will is an illusion.

The exercise of the astrology needs a deep and traditional formation, beyond the vast knowledge of the techniques practiced since the antiquity. Traditional astrology is a continuous and dedicated study that needs ethics, very much ethics, because we are dealing with people´s life, their future, their hopes and fears. My opinion is that the good astrologer must study much and say little, even because we don´t know all and astrologers are not God.
The astrologer graduated exclusively in modern techniques does not have the knowledge or the tools of a traditional astrologer, since the astrology went through an over simplification and even through a corruption to be accepted by the modern Cartesian mentality. The astrological tradition and the prediction have generated conflicts with the technological powers and omnipotent valorization of the free will that occurred in the last centuries. Then the strength of the astrology remained buried with the deceased languages in which they had been written and described in Greek, Aramaic, Latin and Arab.

From the decade of 90 of the last century some scholars translated to the English important texts of Bonatti, Abu Mashar, Marsha´alla, Abu-Ali-Al- Khayat, Ptolemy, Vettius Valens, Al Buruni and many others, originally written in Latin and Greek. The traditional astrology started to be spread, although until today we have not a big amount of works translated and some of them have many gaps and corruptions, as result of various translations from Greek to Arab and from Arab to Latin, before arriving to the English language. Many times the original workmanship has been lost and we only have its translation to Latin. Another times, the texts seems not comprehensible because the ancient authors deliberately wrote them with the intent of passing unobserved before the authorities of that time, or to prevent that they fall in not initiated or wrong hands.

Now, then, it´s necessary to study this wonderful, extensive and arduous subject that is at least 4000 years old.
The deep knowledge of the cosmic relations between signs and planets, the understanding of the symphonic language of the cosmos and the reading of that music can approach ourselves to the superior power that has built everything and which send us His signs through the heavens. That can allow us to answer an Horary Consultation in order to know someone’s tendency for happiness or misfortune in a certain issue, as well as choosing the favorable moments so that we can better adjust our life and to exert some freedom in order to reach what we wish for ours life and happiness.
